<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve work efficiency by easily forming radial ventilation recessed parts each having one large side and the other small side in a surface area of a plate material in order to provide an excellent effect as a furring strip. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a furring strip material and an apparatus therefor by forming the ventilation recessed parts D in the plate material P using a rotary blade 11, the rotary blade 11 composed of a first cutting blade 13 and a second cutting blade 15 with blade edges brought into contact with a roughly half portion of the ventilation recessed parts D formed in the plate material P is movably provided in the roughly vertical direction, a plate material supporting bed 17 roughly vertically supporting a large number of the plate materials P arranged in the vertical direction is provided, a pressing mechanism 25 pressing the arranged large number of the plate materials P from this side toward the plate material supporting bed 17 is disposed, and the ventilation recessed parts D are cut on the rear face of the plate materials P on the plate material supporting bed 17 in such a manner that upper parts of the ventilation recessed parts D are large and lower parts are small and the ventilation recessed parts D are radially widened by using the rotary blade 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
