<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce the number of execution cycles without increasing the object size of a strncat function by directly applying an SMOVU as a character string operation instruction to a standard library function strncat for performing a character string operation prepared by an RXC compiler. <P>SOLUTION: An arithmetic processing unit is configured to obtain a connection destination address R1, a connection source address R2, and a character size R3 to be connected as input data, to add the character size R3 to the connection destination address R1 so as to obtain a tail address R4 after transfer, to add 1 to the character size R3, to obtain the tail address R4 after transfer, the transfer source address R2, and the character size to which 1 has been added as input data to execute a character string transfer instruction, to determine whether or not all the characters have been transferred for the character size to which 1 has been added after execution, and to, when all the characters have been transferred, overwrite '¥0' on the tail character after transfer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
