<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire routing structure having excellent routing workability and capable of obtaining sufficient characteristic impedance, and a power line carrier communication cable. <P>SOLUTION: The power line carrier communication cable 1a connects apparatuses 3a, 3b. The apparatuses 3a, 3b are, for example, engine control units (ECU) and is particularly used for an automobile. In the power line carrier communication cable 1a, a small diameter part 7 is provided in a part of the electric wire 5 in the longitudinal direction. The small diameter part 7 has a cross-sectional area smaller than that in the other part except for the small diameter part 7. A copper or aluminum wire, for example, is used for the electric wire 5. As a method of forming the small diameter part 7 in the part of the electric wire 5, the small diameter part is easily formed by drawing a part of the electric wire 5. In the power line carrier communication cable 1a, the small diameter part 7 is connected to one of the apparatus 3b and the other end is connected to the apparatus 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
