STRETCH LAME YARN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF AND FABRIC USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch lame yarn in which the coverage of lame yarn is extremely high while suppressing the unevenness of the covering caused by stretch and having desirable elasticity.

SOLUTION: A stretch lame yarn comprises a core yarn (2) of an elastic yarn and a sheath yarn (3) of a lame yarn (7) winding the surrounding of the core yarn (2). The sheath yarn (3) comprises: a bottom twisting yarn (4); and an upper twisting yarn (5) comprising a lame yarn (7). While the core yarn (2) is elongated at a draft rate of twice or less, the core yarn (2) is wound up with the bottom twisting yarn (4) in a prescribed direction and then wound up with the upper twisting yarn (5) in a direction opposite to the prescribed direction, thereby forming a double covering structure. When winding the upper twisting yarn (5), a covering condition is set so that the upper twisting coefficient K1, which is represented by a formula K1=(SS/D+SC)1/2×R1, can be 30000 or more, where SS represents the fineness of the core yarn and SC represents the fineness of the overall sheath yarn and D represents the draft rate of the core yarn in the covering process and R1 represents the twisting number of the upper twisting yarn.
