<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stereoscopic camera which can simultaneously photograph two images having parallax necessary to create a solid image. <P>SOLUTION: A solid photographing device comprises light incident parts 10, 12, disposed one each at two locations, which take in an image of a subject 0; a polarized light synthesizing part 2 which, after shifting the phases of beams of light of an incident image entered from the light incident part 10 and an incident image entered from the light incident part 12 respectively by λ/4, extracts components which are respectively out of phase by λ/2, and then synthesizes and guides them to a camera optics part 3; the camera optics part 3 which radiates an image formation image so that a synthesized incident image is formed on image pickup sensors at a desired magnification; a polarized light separation part 4 which separates the image formation image radiated from the camera optics part 3 into directions of two image pickup sensors (elements) 5, 6 by a difference in polarization; and an image processing unit 7 which forms an image from digital image data obtained by photographing (photo-electrically converting) and then A/D converting the separated images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
