<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device capable of surely preventing a discharge port from being blocked by scales exfoliated when performing pole change in an electrolytic bath. <P>SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device 10 is provided with a drain mechanism 28 for draining sterilizing water generated within a predetermined period of time from the time when the polarity of a voltage is reversed by an electrolytic bath 1, from between the electrolytic bath 1 of a flow channel 16 and a discharge port of a washing nozzle 14 to a water closet. The drain mechanism 28 includes a drain flow channel 22 branched off from between the electrolytic bath 1 of the flow channel 16 and the washing nozzle 14, and the drain flow channel 22 has a pressure loss which is, in the state that the drain flow channel 22 is open, less than that of a water discharge flow channel 18 upstream of a position where the drain flow channel 22 of the flow channel 16 is branched.
