<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier capable of preventing displacement and deformation of a recording medium during the conveyance due to air flow for drying the recording medium without using complicated structure and control. <P>SOLUTION: A drier 40 in a printer 1 that is an inkjet recording apparatus dries a sheet of paper P that is the recording medium includes a drying conveying part 50 for conveying the paper P, and a blowing part 60 for blowing the air on the surface of the paper P conveyed by the drying conveying part 50 so that quantity of airflow decreases in a paper breadthwise direction perpendicular to a paper conveying direction as the blowing position becomes apart from the center. As a result, in the drier 40, the quantity of airflow becomes highest at the center of the paper P in the breadthwise direction and becomes lower than the center in the vicinity of both ends in the breadthwise direction. Accordingly, the air, which is introduced between the paper P and a drying conveyor belt 51 of the drying conveying part 50, can be extruded from the center toward both ends in the breadthwise direction, to thereby facilitate sticking of the paper P to the drying conveyor belt 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
