摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system which can improve the stability of an output. <P>SOLUTION: The engine system is constituted in such a manner that, when a detection temperature of a catalyst temperature detection means 14 reaches an overheat preventing set temperature or higher for preventing the overheat of a ternary catalyst 13, a control means 20 executes output lowering processing for lowering an output of an engine 1 or controlling a throttle valve 11 in order to stop the engine 1, and after the execution of the output lowering processing, when the detection temperature of the catalyst temperature detection means 14 becomes lower than the overheat preventing set temperature, the control means executes output recovery processing for raising the output of the engine 1 to an output before being lowered or controlling a throttle valve 11 in order to restart the engine 1. When the control means 20 executes the output lowering processing, the control means executes cranking for operating a starting motor 8 for starting the engine 1 in a state that the throttle valve 11 is opened and a fuel supply valve 10 is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
