<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform warning in more appropriate timing in a receiver of a tire air pressure monitoring system. <P>SOLUTION: In reception of an information signal, a reference point K1 which is temperature of a tire included in the signal and at which air pressure becomes a minimum low air pressure threshold Th1 is set. Then, a threshold straight line L1 which passes through the reference point K1 and has an inclination according to the Boyle-Charles Law to be derived from the temperature of the tire included in the information signal and the air pressure of the tire is recognized. When the temperature of the tire included in an information signal received after that is higher than the temperature in reception of, for example, the previous information signal, it is set to a corrected low air pressure threshold Th2 larger than the minimum low air pressure threshold Th1 on the threshold straight line L1.
