摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick charge system for electric vehicle, which can quickly charge any electric vehicle with a battery in a state of discharge on the road only by a necessary electric quantity required for travel to the nearest charging stand, and its control method. <P>SOLUTION: This quick charge system for electric vehicle 1 comprises a vehicle type information acquiring means connected with a geographic information server 6 to acquire vehicle type information of the electric vehicle 9, a power feed rate computing means which calculates a power feed rate required for the electric vehicle 9 to travel towards the nearest charging stand based on the acquired vehicle type information, information on stopped position/traveling direction and positional information of the charging stand, and a control means for controlling charge with a quick charger. The power feed rate is corrected depending on traffic congestion or weather condition. The quick charge system can be consisted of a battery charger 2 equipped with the vehicle type information acquiring means, the quick charger and the control means, and a central control unit 3 including the power feed rate computing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
