<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not output from each of two motors is normal, in a drive unit including the two motors and two control devices controlling the two motors, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: A drive unit includes: a master electronic control unit 50 setting a torque command Tm1* of motors MG1, MG2, controlling the motor MG2 based on a torque command Tm2* and monitoring output from the motor MG1 by comparing the torque command Tm1* with output torque; and a slave electronic control unit 52 controlling the motor MG1 based on the torque command Tm1* and monitoring output from the motor MG2 by comparing the torque command Tm2* with output torque. The torque commands Tm1*, Tm2* are transmitted from the master electronic control unit 50 to the slave electronic control unit 52 by a serial communication line 60, and the torque command Tm2* is transmitted by an analog communication line 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
