<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate capable of suppressing a decrease in an aperture ratio, and a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: An array substrate comprises: multiple auxiliary capacity electrodes 17; multiple auxiliary capacity lines Cs that extend in a horizontal direction X, are arranged at the auxiliary capacity electrodes at intervals in a mutually facing manner and form multiple auxiliary capacity elements Cst along with the auxiliary capacity electrodes; multiple signal lines S that extend in a vertical direction Y and intersect with the auxiliary capacity lines; and multiple pixel electrodes PE that are connected electrically to the auxiliary capacity electrodes. The auxiliary capacity electrode 17 connected to one of the pixel electrodes PE adjacent in the vertical direction Y and the auxiliary capacity electrode 17 connected to the other one of the pixel electrodes PE face the same auxiliary capacity line Cs, intersect with the signal line S and extend in the horizontal direction X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
