COMMUNICATION CONTROL DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient realtime data communication even if coding schemes used at the communication device of a communication request source and at the communication device of a communication request destination are different.

SOLUTION: A communication control device receives coding schemes used by communication devices from the plurality of communication devices; stores communication device identification information associating it with information indicating a coding scheme used by the communication device among multiple coding schemes; receives a call control signal including communication device identification information identifying the communication device of a communication request destination from the communication device of a communication request source; reads out and compares a coding scheme associated with the communication device of the communication request source and a coding scheme associated with the communication device of the communication request destination; and if the compared coding schemes are different, reads out the connection destination of a conversion device performing conversion of different coding schemes, and transmits a call control signal including the connection destination to the communication devices of the communication request source and communication request destination.
