<p>The tracker (1) has a base (2), and a frame (10) connected with the base by joints, where axes of the joints are perpendicular to each other. The frame is movably accommodated in two spatial directions. The frame comprises concentrator modules (20, 20a), where each module is movably arranged in the directions for individual alignment towards sun independent of the adjacent modules. Each module has a lens i.e. Fresnel lens, for focusing light, a light sensitive sensor (40) with LEDs, and a receptor i.e. photovoltaic module, arranged in a focal point of the lens. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a solar tracker.</p> |
