The cover (2) has a lid (5) and a shaft (9) provided with an upper flange (100) and a lower flange (100'). The shaft comprises two mounting bases (4, 4') having transversal edges (6, 6'). Each transversal edge of each base is arranged along an extension direction (D1) secant to a border plane (P1) along which the upper flange of the shaft is arranged. The bases are assembled with each other through complementary interlocking elements e.g. ribs. The base comprises an inner face provided with stiffeners.
