Disclosed are waterproofing membranes consisting of a reinforcing material impregnated with a bituminous formulation comprising industrial bitumen, a mineral filler, and a thermoplastic polymer or a mixture of thermoplastic polymers, characterised in that the mineral filler consists of aluminium silicate in the form of cenospheres with a density of between 0.6 and 0.85 g/cm 3 and a size of between 5 and 300 µm, preferably between 5 and 106 µm.
