PURPOSE: A device for reducing smoke with materials for trapping a porous ceramic bead is provided to maximize the filtering efficiency as the smoke flows with a swirling form by a spiral screw member. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for reducing smoke comprises a body unit, a screw member, and a smoke trapping material(30). The body unit comprises an inlet port(13) and an outlet port(14). The smoke is sucked or discharged through the inlet and outlet ports. The screw member comprises a center shaft(21) and blades(22). The center shaft is inserted into the body unit. The blades are spirally fixed to the outer surface of the center shaft. The smoke trapping material traps the smoke flowing through the inlet port. The smoke trapping material is charged in the body unit.
