PURPOSE: A duct opening and closing device is provided to smoothly remove foreign materials accumulated on a belt by forming a gas jet nozzle in a pusher unit for jetting high-pressure gas toward the foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A duct opening and closing device comprises a belt(50), a belt lifter(60), a pusher unit(100), and a heating medium circulating unit(200). The belt is arranged at the top of a duct to cover an opening. The belt lifter includes a plurality of rollers on which the belt is wound and raised to partially open the opening. The pusher unit is coupled to the belt lifter to protrude in the traveling direction of the belt lifter and pushes foreign materials off the belt. The heating medium circulating unit circulates heating medium in one or more of the rollers.
