PURPOSE: A system for performing buffering in a streaming service based on a peer-to-peer service and a method thereof and a system for distributing an application processing the buffering in a client are provided to maximize a sharing rate of data between peers by additionally buffering a fixed quantity of pieces which are used for playing of contents. CONSTITUTION: A storing unit(1010) stores pieces of data streams in a first buffer. The storing unit stores a part of the pieces which are used for playing of contents among the stored pieces in a second buffer. A buffer size adjusting unit(1020) dynamically adjusts a size of the first buffer according to a network state.
