<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystallized glass article having excellent thermal durability and mechanical strength, showing a high-grade appearance, and capable of giving an excellent designing property, and to provide a method for manufacturing the article. <P>SOLUTION: The crystallized glass article is produced by accumulating crystalline glass small bodies, and melting and integrating the accumulated material by heat treatment to crystallize. The crystallized glass article contains Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-based crystals by 20 to 70 mass% and RO-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-based crystals (where R represents Mg, Ca, Sr or Ba) or R'<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-based crystals (where R' represents Na or K) by 1 to 75 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
