摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable detection by a detection method and a device which detect light generated owing to excitation of a fluorescent label by improving reproducibility and accuracy of the detection. <P>SOLUTION: The amount of a substance to be detected is detected by coupling a fluorescent label coupling substance onto a sensor part formed on one surface of a dielectric plate of a sensor chip by an amount corresponding to the amount of a substance to be detected contained in a sample liquid containing the substance to be detected by bringing the sample liquid into contact with a top of the sensor part, generating an electric field on the sensor part by irradiating the sensor part with excitation light at an angle of incidence such that the sensor part has a total reflection condition, exciting the fluorescent label of the fluorescent label coupling substance with the electric field, and measuring the light generated owing to the excitation. In this case, an image is acquired by photographing the top of the sensor part, the number of fluorescent labels in the image is measured, and the amount of the substance to be detected is detected based upon the measured number of fluorescent labels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
