PURPOSE: A method for fabricating monofilament containing basalt powder is provided to ensure deodorizing and disinfecting functions and to enable smooth blood circulation. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating monofilament for a brush containing basalt powder comprises: a step of pulverizing selected basal in a size of 8-20 mm and performing thermal treatment of the basalt at 2,000-2,500 Deg. C. for 5-10 minutes to remove impurities; a step of pulverizing the basalt at less than 500 mesh and removing iron using a magnet; a step of mixing a resin material containing 0.05-2.0 parts by weight of the basalt powder based on 100 parts by weight of polybutylene terephthalate(PBT); a step of fusing, spinning, cooling, and drawing the resin material; and a step of winding monofilament. The resin material additionally contains 0.001-0.05 parts by weight of natural inorganic pigment. A make-up, a hair brush, and a toothbrush contain the basalt powder.
