<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom unit allowing a user to use a backrest at whichever position the user is seated on a bench counter, and to use a handrail without being hindered by the backrest when the user moves. <P>SOLUTION: The bathroom unit includes: a bathtub 2; a washing place floor 1 disposed at a position adjacent to the bathtub 2; the bench counter 3 in which the user can be seated, fixed to a third wall surface 4 located on the washing place side and disposed in such a way as to connect the bathtub 2 and a first wall surface 5; the handrail 11 fixed to the third wall surface 4 and formed to extend from above the bench counter 3 toward the upper side of the bathtub 2; and the backrest member 9 allowing the user seated on the bench counter 3 to lean the user's back on.
