PLASMA GENERATING DEVICE AND WASHING AND CLEANING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma generating device which prevents a liquid from flowing in a gas storage portion from a liquid storage portion, and also prevents an unstable discharge phenomenon occurred due to clogging of a gas passage and deposition of the liquid to an electrode provided at a side of the gas storage portion.

SOLUTION: The plasma generating device 1 comprises: the liquid storage portion 3 for storing the liquid 6 containing water therein; the gas storage portion 4 for storing a gas therein; a partition wall portion 3 which has the gas passage 5a for introducing the gas in the gas storage portion into the liquid storage portion formed therein and separates the liquid storage portion from the gas storage portion; a first electrode 10 arranged in the gas storage portion; a second electrode 11 arranged so as to bring in contact with the liquid in the liquid storage portion; further a gas supply portion 9 for supplying a gas to the gas storage portion; a plasma power source portion 13; and liquid-inflow prevention means (control portion 14) for preventing the liquid from flowing in the gas storage portion from the liquid storage portion through the gas passage.
