<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire the logical page number of an image on the basis of combination information indicating the combination of output format information showing either a sorting output or a stack output encoded into an image with printing surface information indicating the printing surface of a logical page between the surface and back face of a printing medium and the information of an identifier. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 20 includes: acquiring data for image formation, the number of copies of printing, and output format information (step S3); calculating the key value of each physical page on the basis of the copy number of printing, the number of copies of printing and a logical page number by a preliminarily set arithmetic operation according to the combination of output format information and printing surface information, acquiring an output format code value indicating the combination of the output format information and the printing surface information from which the key value has been calculated, acquiring an identifier calculated by adding an initial identifier as a representative identifier and the key value in association with each physical page, and encoding and synthesizing the acquired identifier and the output format code value into the image of the corresponding physical page of a printing medium to which image formation is performed by an image formation part 23 (step S11). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
