PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine execution of business by mounting a sensor on an article and detecting movement of the article itself.

SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: at least one sensor mounted on equipment used in a facility; reception means that receives a signal from the sensor; and determination means that determines the presence/absence of execution of business related to the equipment which is used in the facility and on which the sensor is mounted based on the signal received by the reception means.
