PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use resources of a storage medium and/or a communication medium by storing and collating features of face information by parts of a face, attribute information and related information without storing the face information itself.

SOLUTION: An image processing device detects face information from a captured image to analyze the face information. The image processing device comprises: face detection means for detecting a face area from the captured image; part detection means for detecting parts of a face from the detected face area; attribute analysis means for analyzing attributes including color in at least one area among areas of the detected part, surrounding areas of the parts, and other partial areas in the face area; related information acquisition means for acquiring related information related to the face area detected by the face detection means; and storage means for storing the parts, the attributes, and the related information in association in a retrievable manner.
