<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma mig welding torch 24 capable of preventing the occurrence of cracking or chipping in an insulating member 13 due to fastening of the insulating member 13 by a tapered part 25a of a plasma electrode when the plasma electrode 25 is cooled after thermal expansion. <P>SOLUTION: In the plasma mig welding torch 24, the insulating member 13 is arranged between a feeding tip 6 and the plasma electrode 25, a plasma nozzle 8 surrounds the plasma electrode 25, and a shield gas nozzle 9 surrounds the plasma nozzle 8. A notch 26 formed in the tapered part 25a of the plasma electrode includes a bottom surface 26a expanding in a direction perpendicular to an axis part of the plasma electrode 25, and a side surface 26b extending in a direction of a base end of the plasma electrode 25 from the maximum peripheral part of the bottom surface 26a. The front end 13b of the insulating member abuts on the notch 26 and is supported slidably.
