<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short-cut polyester fiber which has superior dispersibility in water and is suitably used for obtaining a wet nonwoven fabric having adequate texture. <P>SOLUTION: The short-cut polyester fiber contains polyester as a main component and 0.3-20.0 mass% of following components (A) and (B) in total; (A) an esterification reaction product which comprises a sulfonic acid group containing aromatic dicarboxylic acid and/or an ester-forming derivative thereof, polycarboxylic acid not containing a sulfonic group and/or an ester-forming derivative thereof, and polyalkylene glycol, and (B) polyalkylene glycol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
