<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the data quantity of data to be read for plotting a surface image. <P>SOLUTION: A display control device is configured to record first surface data showing the representative height and representative color of a surface when each of a plurality of sections set on a map is viewed from the other sections within a predetermined distance and second surface data showing the representative height and representative color of the surface when each of the plurality of sections is viewed from the other sections beyond the predetermined distance in association with each of the plurality of sections, and to specify a first peripheral section as the other sections within the predetermined distance from a visual point section where a visual point is set among the plurality of sections and a second peripheral section as the other sections beyond the predetermined distance from the visual point section among the plurality of sections, and to display a surface image showing a surface viewed from a visual point position by attaching the representative colors shown by the first surface data about the first peripheral section and the second surface data about the second peripheral section within an image area specified by the representative height respectively shown by the first surface data and the second surface data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
