<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating organic wastewater capable of remarkably reducing the generation of surplus sludge using a simple facility and without adding high pressure gas or chemical. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of biologically treating organic wastewater using active sludge, a portion of the active sludge in a biological treatment tank is sheared and refined in a solubilization tank, fine air bubbles are generated and dispersed in the active sludge, and thereafter, the active sludge is used again for biological treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
