<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system which allows contents of input color correction data to reflect on an image being displayed. <P>SOLUTION: In an image display system 1, a digital image signal in a bitmap format is generated from image data. Correction bitmap data in the bitmap format is generated from correction data for performing color correction per LED unit 3. Control signal data for controlling each LED unit 3 is generated from the digital image signal. A correction clock indicating a correction value for each LED unit 3 is generated from the correction bitmap data. The control signal data and the correction clock are transmitted to a corresponding LED unit 3 in every frame.
