<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve vehicle mountability by bringing an engine, a motor and a transmission together to achieve miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: In a travel drive device of a hybrid vehicle including the engine 10, the electric motor 39 and the transmission part 1, the transmission part 1, which is disposed adjacently to the engine 10, includes a power transmission shaft 3 which has power transmitted to one end from the engine 10 and which has the other end elongated in the direction of isolation from the engine 10, first and second input shafts 4 and 5, and a plurality of speed change gears 31-37 for a plurality of steed change stages; the speed change gears 31-37 are divided into two groups and disposed in a juxtaposed manner on the first and second input shafts 4 and 5 while being brought together into each group; the electric motor 39 can transmit power to a second idling gear 32b of the nearest second gear 32 among the steed change stages of the group near the engine 10; and a body part is disposed in such a manner as to be elongated from the power transmission part in the direction of isolation from the engine 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
