摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion element in which the wavelength conversion region is improved and reflection loss of incident light is also improved, and to provide a photoelectric conversion device comprising the wavelength conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion element has at least one wavelength conversion layer comprising a matrix layer composed of a curable resin material or an inorganic material having a band gap of 3 eV or larger, and particles having grain size of 3-20 nm composed of a wavelength conversion composition provided in the matrix layer and performing wavelength conversion to the light having energy lower than that of the light absorbed, for a specific wavelength region of the light absorbed. The particles are arranged so that the distance between the adjacent particles is shorter than the grain size.
