<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress uneven density more reliably. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid ejector includes a dot formation unit which forms a plurality of dot columns where dots are arranged in an intersecting direction in the column direction by performing an ejection operation of ejecting liquid from each nozzle toward a medium while moving a nozzle array composed of nozzles arranged in the column direction in the direction intersecting the column direction, and a moving operation of moving the nozzle array in the column direction between the ejection operations, a specification unit which specifies an uneven density region having uneven density in the plurality of dot arrays formed on the medium, a correction data creation unit which creates a plurality of types of correction data in the uneven density region specified by the specification unit where the gray scale value of an uneven density part in the uneven density region is changed using nozzles corresponding to each dot array of the uneven density region, and a selection unit which selects an image having small uneven density among a plurality of correction images formed on respective mediums by the dot formation unit based on each piece of correction data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
