<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting a rolling roll gap, by which the adjustment of the rolling roll gap during rolling is performed with high accuracy by utilizing the detected values of an eddy current type gap sensor. <P>SOLUTION: In the method in which the adjustment of the rolling roll gap during rolling is performed by utilizing the detected value of the eddy current type gap sensors 17, a correction function F(t) for correcting the detection error of the gap sensor 17, which is generated in accordance with the temperature rise of rolling rolls 14, 15, is determined as a time function taking the starting time of rolling as a starting point and, by using a calculated value obtained by correcting the detected value of the gap sensor 17 by the correction function F(t), the rolling roll gap is adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
