<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device in which the light-emitting elements configuring a light irradiation section are less susceptible to failure, and recording can be continued even if the light-emitting elements fail during recording. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device includes a recording head 15 having a nozzle array 5 which ejects photoreaction liquid toward a material P to be recorded, and a light irradiation section 19 having a light-emitting element array 39 consisting of light-emitting elements 41 arranged in the same direction as the nozzle array and irradiating the thus ejected photoreaction liquid with light to cause chemical change thereof. A plurality of light-emitting element arrays are arranged in the light irradiation section, and in the plurality of light-emitting element arrays, the positions of the light-emitting elements arranged at a predetermined pitch in the same direction as the nozzle array are consistent or shifted by a predetermined pitch in the direction of nozzle array. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
