PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check whether a flexible wiring board is wired in a correct posture.

SOLUTION: A COF (Chip On Film) includes a flexible base material 51. On the base material 51, a wiring line 55 used in a recording operation and wiring lines 56-58 for checking having checking parts 56b-58b which are disconnected when folded at a predetermined curvature and over are provided. A flexible wiring board has a folding region at which the flexible wiring board is to be folded at the predetermined curvature and the flexible wiring board is to be connected with a connection target. The checking parts of the wiring lines for checking are provided on the folding region of the base material.
