NAVIGATION DEVICE, GUIDANCE METHOD, GUIDANCE PROGRAM, AND DISASTER PREVENTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention system and a device which minimize human damage in natural disaster including a tsunami, with a relatively small budget.

SOLUTION: A navigation device comprises: location detection means for detecting a current location; storage means for storing evacuation information in which pieces of information concerning evacuation places in emergency are compiled; reception means for receiving emergency information; calculation means for performing first calculation processing for obtaining the optimum evacuation place among a plurality of evacuation places included in the evacuation information based on the emergency information and the current location; and display means for displaying the obtained optimum evacuation place. A disaster prevention system comprises the navigation device and a disaster information management center for generating the emergency information about disaster to transmit the emergency information to the navigation device. With the disaster prevention system, a user of the navigation device can take an unperturbed evacuation action in occurrence of disaster.
