FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation, particularly, to preparation of seadrome for boatplane takeoff and surfacing. Proposed method comprises defining position of runway without the boundaries of seadrome surface with due allowance for wind direction and minimum wind-induced wave. Hovercraft crew arrange marker buoys to allow check up, both visually and by radars and sonars, aircraft path on water surface. Boatplane is moored, cast off and towed after surfacing or prior to taking off. Glide and on-course beacons are installed aboard air-cushion vessel to receive and transmit radio signals to provide for boatplane surfacing in poor visibility. Sea floor semispherical transceiver antennas are installed along runway axes to allow direction- and frequency-quantised echo-ranging of under and surface objects in all-around or sector mode in azimuth and elevation. ^ EFFECT: higher safety. ^ 5 cl, 11 dwg |
