<p>The method involves receiving a frame signal (16) from an image sensor (IMS), and amplifying the frame signal by applying an amplification gain that is adjusted between values distinct from minimum gain and maximum gain. Integration duration is established to maintain the gain at a fixed value. The integration duration is maintained at maximum integration duration to adjust the maximum gain and fixed gain values according to average value of the frame signal if new integration duration is greater than the maximum duration. An independent claim is also included for a video processor comprising a logic circuit.</p> |
