PURPOSE: A dynamic packet scheduling apparatus and a method thereof are provided to dynamically select a scheduling algorithm through a fuzzy inference system in order to increase the performance of packet scheduling. CONSTITUTION: Fuzzy rule database(300) stores a fuzzy rule. The fuzzy rule is deducted by evaluating the performance of each packet scheduling algorithm which influences the performance of a packet scheduling algorithm. A fuzzy inferring unit(100) performs fuzzy inference through the fuzzy rule. The fuzzy inferring unit selects the scheduling algorithm.
