<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sensing efficiency of a capacitive touch sensing device. <P>SOLUTION: For a touch sensing device 1, the present invention divides a scanning procedure of an electrode matrix 10 into two scanning stages. First, it scans broadly (coarse scan) for determining whether the potential signal of at least one driving line LD of the electrode matrix 10 is changed or not.
