The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner for bedding, which suctions dust or bacteria including dust mites from bedding (covers, blankets, bed mattress, pillow, etc.) or automatically beats bedding to remove dust or bacteria, and which selectively performs ultraviolet sterilization, hot air drying and sterilization by hot air blowing. A vacuum cleaner according to one preferable embodiment of the present invention suctions dirt by a vacuum suction motor arranged in a main body of the vacuum cleaner and collects the dirt in a filter, wherein the vacuum cleaner comprises: a mode set button for turning on/off power for cleaning bedding and setting a bedding cleaning mode; a display panel for visually displaying the bedding cleaning mode set by the mode set button; a vacuum suction/beating unit for cleaning the bedding by vacuum suction and beating in conjunction with the operation of the vacuum suction motor; a hot air drying/sterilizing unit for hot air drying and sterilizing the bedding; an ultraviolet sterilizing unit for the ultraviolet sterilization of the bedding; and a control module for controlling operations of the vacuum suction motor, the beating unit, the hot air drying/sterilizing unit and the ultraviolet sterilizing unit in accordance with the bedding cleaning mode set by the mode set button. |
