The system (1) has a tumble body (11) inserted and fixed into an inlet duct (8) of the system by welding or gluing, where a tumbling motion of an intake air is generated in a combustion chamber (10) of a cylinder of a combustion engine. The tumble body is inserted into an inlet channel of an intake manifold (12) of the system, where the intake manifold is formed as a molded plastic part. The tumble body is formed as a wedge-shaped body, which is expanded in flow direction of the intake air, where a leading end of the tumble body extends transversely to the flow direction of the intake air. The tumble body is made of metal or plastic.
