<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool which can prevent the failure of an inverter circuit due to supply of voltage out of a usable range. <P>SOLUTION: The power tool 1 includes a motor 5, an inverter circuit 8 for generating a motor drive voltage from a DC voltage to supply it to the motor 5, and a rectifying voltage detecting circuit 72 for detecting the DC voltage.
