<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable acquisition of more accurate information on an object to be read. <P>SOLUTION: A reading apparatus capable of reading an object to be read by emitting light to the object to be read from a light source and receiving reflected light from the object to be read with an image pickup element comprises a plurality of image pickup elements installed at different positions. The image pickup elements are installed at different angles with respect to a surface to be read of the object to be read, respectively.
