Provided is a slider for slide fasteners that can prevent deformation of the cover member and can facilitate insertion of the pull into the insertion space. The slider is equipped with: a body (20); a locking member (40) swingably supported on a pillar (31) standing on the upper surface of the body (20); a cover member (50), which is fitted on the upper surface of the body (20) in a cantilevered state with the front end fixed and which covers the pillar (31) and the locking member (40) from above; and an opening-closing member (60), which is formed between the back end of the cover member (50) and the body (20) and opens and closes the space (S) into which the shaft (15a) of the pull (15) is inserted. The cover member (50) comprises a first surface (81) formed on the back end of the cover member (50) and formed to be substantially parallel to the body (20), and a second surface (82) that extends backward and upward from the back end of the first surface (81) at a prescribed angle. The opening-closing member (60) comprises a third surface (83) that lies under the first surface (81) in the vertical direction and is formed to be substantially parallel to the first surface (81), and a fourth surface (84) that extends backward and downward from the back end of the third surface (83) at a prescribed angle. |
