The present invention relates to a novel isolated lactobacillus fermentum strain having a viral infection inhibitory activity. Because the novel isolated strain of the present invention has excellent effects of preventing and treating one or more viral infections which are different, the strain can be widely utilized for the prevention and treatment of viral diseases of animals.
