MUNTIN MEMBER, SOUND INSULATION PANEL, AND SOUND INSULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muntin member capable of improving sound insulating properties of a panel for use in components of a building.

SOLUTION: A muntin member is formed from a lamination of a nonwoven fiber layer 1a and a reinforcement layer 1b. The nonwoven fiber layer 1a has a nonwoven fiber structure in which entangled fibers including hygrothermal adhesive fibers are fixed due to the fusion of the hygrothermal adhesive fibers. The muntin member may have a three-layer structure in which a first reinforcement layer and a second reinforcement layer are laminated through the nonwoven fiber layer. A sound insulation panel is formed from a lamination of a first plate material and a second plate material through a muntin including the muntin member, of which the nonwoven fiber layer and the reinforcement layer may be arranged in parallel with the surface direction of the plate material. A vibration control layer may be included between the muntin member and the first plate member and/or the second plate member.
